Stuffed chicken breast dinner
East Palestine Eagles #1506 will hold its monthly drive thru stuffed chicken breast dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday. Dinner is a stuffed chicken breast, baked potato, vegetable and roll for $11. Call 330-853-8483 to reserve a meal.
‘Cozy Reads with the Police’
The East Liverpool Carnegie Public Library is inviting children of all ages to enjoy “Cozy Reads with the Police,” fun and free snacks. Police Chief John Lane, who could possibly be joined by a couple of East Liverpool police officers, will be reading stories to children at the library beginning at 11 a.m. The library is located at 219 E. 4th St. For information contact the East Liverpool Carnegie Public Library at 330-385-2048.
United Quilt Guild
United Quilt Guild will begin their monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. today with a visit to Sew Quilty on State Street, Salem, for a demonstration of the longarm machine. Members will hold the meeting afterward at the First Presbyterian Church. Members who choose not to go to the shop may meet at the church, which will be open for members to work on projects at 1 p.m.
Care and Share Benefit Dinner
The 23rd annual Care and Share Benefit Dinner will be held on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at First Christian Church, 831 Main St., Wellsville. The menu consists of creamed chicken over biscuit, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, green beans, and pumpkin pie. Cost by donation. Dinners can be picked up at the front basement door. All proceeds go directly to Care and Share.
