Choose To Lose Group

Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on Nov. 11 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding. The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call.

Pam Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasure report. Both were approved as read.

Margo Arnold was the CTLG biggest loser, also was last weeks biggest loser! Congratulations!

Penny Perorazio won the Food Journals, Tassy Everett won the dimes, Cassie Stephens won the Share The Blessing.

Jackie Wilson, Tassy Everett, Margo Arnold, Penny Perorazio, and Pam Fouse got to Put A Pig In The Pen.

Winners of the No Fibbing Contest are Wanda Price, Jean Ferrebee, and Penny Perorazio. New numbers were drawn for the following week # 6.

The no no is ice cream.

Tassy Everett brought in her homemade apple cider for us to try. Delicious!!

Penny Perorazio read an article from the Chicken Soup For A Dieters Soul. Penny closed the meeting with prayer requests followed by Lord’s Prayer. New and former members are always welcome. For more information call 330-383-8217.

Tops 1341

Tops 1341 met at the Glenmoor Presbyterian church on Nov. 10 with Mary Gailey, leader, presiding. Darla Varney was the best loser and Patty Gruszecki was runner up. They chose brownies and candy as the junk food for next week.

The drawing winners were: 50/50 Cassie Ensinger, weight loss and food chart Gruszecki, junk food Pat Allison, jackpot Cheryl Myers. Other winners were: Dorothy Garn and Pat Allison losing three weeks in a row, Varnet was three times in the best losers book. Lydia Kraft was in the attendance record, and Allison holds the travel box for the 2nd week. All members went back on the check this week.

Mary Gailey presented a program reading “Wake up-Slimmer” and Strategies for Navigating Parties from the Tops Magazine. The members participated by sharing their experiences and strategies. Chris Plunkett will present the program next week.

The Lotto Lottery contest started at this meeting. The Christmas party, December 15, at Chef Rays was discussed. Dorothy Garn reminded the members of the ugly sweater contest at the Christmas party.

The meeting opened with pledges and closed with prayer concerns and The Lord’s Prayer.
