First United Methodist Church of Lisbon (SUMC) was selected as the October 2025 Business of the Month for Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce. The church is well-known for its generous food pantry, offering an abundance of items to families in need. During the Annual Johnny Appleseed Festival, FUMC allowed the chamber to utilize their facilities and grounds for numerous activities. They also gave out hygiene bags and lunches to 116 families including 258 people. The pantry at the church is open on the first and third Thursday of each month from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., or until food runs out. (Submitted photos)
