Breaking in the Bridges hike
Wampum Chapter, North Country Trail Association, will hold a Breaking in the Bridges hike at Beaver Creek State Park at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 19. There are new bridges on the trail at Beaver Creek to break in. The group will hike from the parking area over the bridges to the park HQ on the North Country trail and return via the lower vondergreen trail. This hike is over varied terrain so wear sturdy shoes, bring a snack and water. And it is hunting season in the park so wear orange. Roughly 6 miles.
