St. Clair trustees approve opioid settlement participation
ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP — Trustees approved the adoption of two resolutions during Monday’s St. Clair Township Board of Trustees meeting.
The resolutions approved include the township’s participation in a new round of the National Opioid Settlement and planning for the adoption of a cyber security policy.
Capt. Derrick Smith, Glenmoor Volunteer Fire Department, announced that the department would be having a push-in ceremony for their new truck on Oct. 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the fire department.
Police Chief Brian McKenzie requested the trustees announce on his behalf that the township trick-or-treat will be Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Bills totaling 275,021.42; a purchase order in the amount of 685.75 and three super blanket certificates totaling $1,700 were approved for payment.
The St. Clair Township Board of Trustees meets every other Monday at 4 p.m. at the township government building, 15442 Pugh Road, Calcutta. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Oct. 6.
