Perry Township to distribute leaf bags starting Oct. 13
PERRY TOWNSHIP — The department will begin distributing paper leaf bags for township residents as part of its annual leaf collection program in October.
Trustee Tony Ieropoli said that residents may begin picking up paper leaf bags at the township road building at 1320 Depot Road beginning Oct. 13. Bags will be available on Monday’s from 7 to 9 a.m., Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Fridays from 1 to 3 p.m. while supplies last. As has been the case since 2022, the leaf bags will be exclusively for township residents, with proof of residence required to receive the bags.
Ieropoli also said that leaf pickup for 2025 is scheduled to begin on Nov. 3.
