For the fourth time, the village of New Waterford is hosting its music festival on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 12-13 within its village park.
Saliva is returning for the second year, headlining day two of the event.
Making their first appearance is Hinder, who is best known for its smash, “Lips of an Angel.” They will be closing out a short opening Friday night, after southern rock band Parker Barrow opens the performances at 5 p.m.
Event organizer Jason Gorby explained that the goal is not only to provide nationally and world touring acts within a convenient location and at an affordable price, but to also raise money to assist with community projects.

The bulk of live music will be on Saturday, when the alternative metal band Earshot will open at 3 p.m.
Following them will be Americana rock duo Dauzat St. Marie, hot off the Ozzy farewell tour and also has been touring as part of Seal’s band this year; Paralandra, a female-fronted rock band; and 12 Stones, an American rock band best known for their lead vocalist’s Grammy winning performance on the Evanescence smash “Bring Me To Life” and use of their songs in box office smashes like the Scorpion King as well as in WWE arenas.
Then Saliva takes the stage to close out the New Waterford Music Festival with hits like “Click Click Boom.”
Tickets are $10 per day and alcoholic beverages will be available for sale, benefiting the New Waterford Friends 501(c)3, which assists with needs to the village, its residents and surrounding areas.
Major sponsors for the event include NDC Heating.
