LEETONIA — The Leetonia school board Wednesday approved several personnel items.

Those items included:

— An one-year limited contract for Jane Luxeuil for as a district van driver.

— An one-year contract for Karla King as a cook for the upcoming school year effective Sept. 22.

— Adding Joe Gibson to the Before Care and After Care program staff effective Aug. 26.

— Adding Cody Malloy as a trainer for the 2025-26 school year at a rate of $2,400 for the remaining fall season sports.

— Kerri Ackler’s request for unpaid leave on Jan. 29 and 30, 2026.

— Hiring Danielle Brown as junior class advisor and game workers Scott Boyd, Joey McGath and Vincent Ankrom.

— Adding Dan Votaw to the substitute list for van drivers.

Board members also accepted $600 in donations for the nurse’s fund from Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Yuhaniak and Ted and Lori Yuhaniak.

In other action, the school board approved:

— Inclusion of both middle and high school wrestling as official OHSAA winter sports beginning the 2025-26 school year.

— Setting the cost of adult lunch price at $5.05 for the 2025-26 school year.
