The Town/Country Garden Club of East Palestine selected as September’s Yard of the Month that of Marty and Dick Grim, 1556 Howell Road. The Grims have lived in the home for over 45 years. The pride they share begins upon entering their driveway with beautiful rose bushes on each side along with flowering shrubbery. Further along the drive is an area with a flagpole, more rose buses and various shrubs. Across the front of the home one will find red and gold million bells, petunias, mandivila, daylilies, ferns and boxwood. Around the sides of the home they continue with hydrangeas, rhododendron, boxwood and mini pine trees. The backyard is a picture postcard with a back drop of a man made lake along with a faux swan. Sitting on the patio one will see a Pin Oak tree, Magnolia tree and a Weeping Cherry. The backyard also has daylilies, canna lilies, begonias, lantana and roses.
