Tops 1341
Tops 1341 met at the Glenmoor Presbyterian church on Monday, Sept. 22, with Mary Gailey, leader, presiding. Becky Andrews was the best loser. Darla Vaney and Dorothy Garn were the runners up. They chose bread and pizza as the junk foods for next week.
The drawing winners were: 50/50, Cathy Wollam; calorie chart, Darlene Naukem; weight loss, Patty Gruszecki; Garn, junk food; and jackpot, Brenda Miller.
Gailey was in the attendance record. Andrews retained the travel box for week one. Three members remain on the check.
The Christmas luncheon will be held on Dec. 15 at Chef Ray’s at 2 p.m. There will be an ugly Christmas sweater contest.
Garn presented the program at this meeting. Balloons had a question relating to nutrition inside. After breaking the balloons, members were asked to provide answers to the questions. Cassie Ensinger will provide the program next week.
The meeting opened with pledges and closed with concerns and The Lord’s Prayer.

Breakfast Club to wrap up
The Sandy & Beaver Insurance Company will be serving up its final breakfast for the year Friday from 8 to 11 a.m. The breakfast will benefit the Lisbon Police Department and Lisbon Fire Department. The breakfast is free and donations are accepted. All donations are matched by Sandy & Beaver Insurance Company and the James L. Sanor Insurance Agency.
Dine In or Drive Thru dinner
Friends of the Banquet sponsor the Dine In or Drive Thru 4th Thursday Banquet in Salem from 5 p.m. until the food is gone Thursday at the Salem Memorial Building. The menu will include penne pasta and meatballs, green beans, salad, fresh vegetables and fruit, and cookies. Dine in will park in designated area and proceed to front door. Drive thru will line up in lot behind the building; one meal per individuals in the vehicle. No parking in library lot.
