Choose To Lose Group

Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on September 2 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding. The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call.

Pam Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasure report. Both were approved as read.

Pam Fouse was the Pearl’s biggest loser. Diamonds in leeway are Dottie Seevers, Jean Ferrebee, and JoAnn Beresford.

Diamond member, JoAnn Beresford had three weeks weight loss. She got pick of kitchen towels.

The no no’s are white bread and chips.

Tammy Heddelston won the Food Journal, JoAnn Beresford won the dimes, and Pat Heacock won the Share The Blessing.

Winners of the No Fibbing Contest are Jean Ferrebee, Dottie Seevers, JoAnn Beresford, and Pam Fouse. New numbers were drawn for the following week # 2.

Wanda Price and Pam Fouse got to Put A Pig In The Pen.

The monthly biggest loser is Tassy Everett. Congratulations!

Carolyn Hager brought in healthy snacks for the group.

Perorazio closed the meeting with prayer requests followed by the Lord’s Prayer. New and former members are always welcome. For more information call 330-383-8217.

WLC Club

The WLC Club met on Aug. 26 at the Living Well Church with leader Mary Jarvis opening the meeting with roll call and then Mary Schmidt led the group in prayer.

The officers ribbon was worn by Donna Lee. Betty Pease won the 50/50 drawing and the nono is ice cream. The best loser for the month of August was Pease.

Lee gave the treasurer’s report and Brenda Young read the minutes. Both were approved as read. Next week members are to remember to come on time to get measured.

Next week will start a new contest. Linda Seevers announced that members are to lose a quarter of a pound to get a flower and will get one for every fourth pound they lose. If they gain, they will lose a flower. Also members are to keep a calorie chart and it must be filled out correctly. It will start in Sept. 2 and end on Oct. 14.

Barb Tranter read a funny story and then Jarvis closed the meeting wishing all a good week.
