The Columbiana Arts Theater announces blockbuster Sept. lineup

COLUMBIANA — The Columbiana Arts Theater (The CAT) is bringing an unforgettable month of entertainment to the Mahoning Valley this September, featuring five major events that promise to inspire, entertain, and engage audiences of all ages.

The month kicks off with the nationally touring play, “Last Out: Elegy of a Green Beret,” at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12. Written and performed by veterans, “Last Out” tells the raw and powerful story of the sacrifices made by U.S. Special Forces and their families with both drama and authenticity to honor those who serve while sparking meaningful conversations about service and sacrifice.

Two days later, the CAT invites guests to attend “The Belonging: A Women’s Community Worship Night,” at 7 p.m. Sept. 14. “The Belonging” creates space for women to rest in God’s presence, build meaningful relationships and be reminded that they are not alone.

The CAT’s annual “TEDxColumbiana” returns on Saturday, Sept. 20. Starting at 9 a.m., the event brings “ideas worth spreading” to our community, featuring local and regional speakers sharing innovative, thought-provoking talks that aim to inspire change. This independently organized TED event will highlight fresh perspectives on business, education, creativity and community right here in Columbiana.

The nation’s premier Fleetwood Mac tribute band, Fleetwood Gold, takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept 27, delivering authentic vocals, harmonies and instrumentation, recreating the magic of one of rock’s most beloved groups.

Jonnie W., Clean Comedian wraps up the month at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, bringing his sharp wit, musical humor, and family-friendly comedy to The CAT. A favorite across the country, Jonnie blends stand-up with storytelling for a night of pure entertainment.

“September is one of the most exciting months we’ve ever had at The CAT,” said Katy Mumaw, director of marketing. “From powerful storytelling and world-class ideas to iconic music and top-notch comedy, there’s truly something for everyone.”
