WELLSVILLE — The board of trustees for the Buckeye Water District adopted two resolutions regarding employee salaries during Thursday’s meeting.

The first resolution provided for an hourly wage increase for water treatment plant employees/operators who obtain and keep a current water treatment operator license.

The second resolution establishes the wages for the positions of billing clerk 1 and billing clerk with the billing clerk 1 to receive an amount equal to the BWD base rate and the billing clerk to receive an amount equal to the BWD base rate less $1.50 an hour.

The hiring rate for clerk 1 shall be the district’s current base rate less $2 with an increase of 50 cents every six months until base rate is reached.

The hiring rate for clerk will be the current district’s base rate less $2 per hour with a 50 cents increase after a six-month probationary period.
