The Springfield Township Historical Society continues its “Afternoon at the Museum” program Sunday, Sept. 7 with “Daughters of the American Revolution” presentation. Emily Slaven will discuss their history and local projects. The STHS is presenting this program in conjunction with “The America 250-Ohio” project which will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026. The STHS museum opens at 2 p.m. for this program which is free and open to everyone. The museum is at 14188 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road (state Route 170), Petersburg.
