5 people escape East Palestine house fire
EAST PALESTINE (WKBN) – Multiple departments responded to a fire at an East Palestine house Thursday evening, according to the fire department’s Facebook page.
Firefighters responded to E. Main Street shortly before 6 p.m.
Firefighters said the fire was in the attic.
Crews said all five people made it out safely.
East Palestine Fire Chief Keith Drabick said the fire is under investigation.
Firefighters thanked community members who provided ice and water.
The East Palestine Fire Department was assisted by departments in New Waterford, Darlington Township, Chippewa Township, Beaver Falls, Springfield Township and Negley.
