The Friends of Columbiana Library's 79th Silent Auction features used library furnishings made of maple. Color photographs of the items are displayed on the windows inside the library's entrance. The public can bid on 13 sets of things until Monday, June 23 at noon. The items include three wood and plastic paperback book display carousels; one portable AC unit; five leather CA metal retro-style bar stools (three red, two blue); one wooden cabinet with pull-out drawers with divided sections; one utility lawn mower dump cart; one wooden information display carousel; one metal under desk mount for a keyboard; two wooden shelf units with rounded corners; one 8-foot projector screen; two octagon wooden book display units; two metal swivel/adjustable hangers; eight wooden maple wood posts; and one decorative maple wood hand sanitizer holder. Opening bids must be within $1 to $10. Bids that follow must be raised at least $1. Winners will be notified on June 23. The winners must call the Columbiana Public Library, 330-482-5509, to arrange for pickup by June 30.
