Lisbon Ministerial Association

The Lisbon Ministerial Association will meet at 10 a.m. today at Assembly of God Church on state Route 517. All local pastors and lay ministers are welcome.

Humane Society garage sale

The Columbiana County Humane Society will hold a garage sale at the Columbiana County Fairgrounds in Lisbon Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with early bird admission for $5 from 9 a.m. to noon; Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with half price items from 10 a.m. to noon and bulk sale pricing from noon to 2 p.m.

Banquet in Salem Thursday

The Salem Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the 4th Thursday Banquet in Salem from 5 p.m. until food is gone Thursday at the Salem Memorial Building. The menu will include chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, corn, applesauce, fresh vegetables and fruit, and cookies. Dine in will park in the designated area and proceed to front door. Drive thru will lineup in the lot behind the building; one meal per individuals in the vehicle. No parking in library lot. EL trash schedule

Trash will be collected from East Liverpool residences Monday, May 26, as the refuse and recycling department employees are scheduled to work on Memorial Day. Residents whose trash is normally collected on Mondays are asked to have their trash set out at the curb for pick up as usual. Trash service on any of the city routes will not be affected by the national holiday.
