EP summer lunch & breakfast

The East Palestine Food Service Department will provide a Summer Breakfast and Lunch Program from June 4 through Aug. 8. This is a free program for any and all students under the age of 18 to enjoy breakfast and lunch in the East Palestine High School Cafeteria. Breakfast will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Lunch will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Mental Health Awareness

The East Liverpool Community Resource Center is hosting weekly luncheons every Wednesday in May from noon to 2 p.m. in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. Each week, guest speakers from various mental health agencies will share insights, resources, and support for the community. It's a chance to connect, learn, and prioritize mental well-being. The Community Resource Center is located at 940 Pennsylvania Ave. in East Liverpool. Everyone is welcome.

Summer Wellness Series set

The East Palestine Resiliency Center at 50410 state Route 14 in East Palestine will host a Community Wellness Series: "Live Well, Spend Smart," facilitated by Columbiana County's OSU Extension Office. This wellness series will cover essential topics, including prescription safety and fraud prevention, to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions. Two sessions will be offered for each topic -- one at 10 a.m. (on June 16, July 14, Aug. 18 and Sept. 22) and the other at 5 p.m. (on June 17, July 15, Aug. 19 and Sept. 23) -- to accommodate varying schedules.
