Growing Traditions 4-H Club

On April 6, Growing Traditions 4-H Club met for its monthly meeting. Members met at St. Michael’s Church to discuss cleaning tips and tools recommended for the fair. They also requested help for committees and brainstormed theme ideas. It was announced that the club gave over 20 meal kits to Big Reach for their Easter Drive. New Members are always welcome. TOPS 1341

TOPS 1341 met Monday, April 28, at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church with Leader Darlene Naukam presiding.

The Best Loser was Darla Varney and Mary Gailey was the Runner-up. They chose potato chips and deep fried foods as this week’s Junk Foods.

Drawing Winners: Weight Loss and Jackpot – Cassie Ensinger, Junk Food – Mary Gailey, 50/50 – Pat Allison.

Losing 3 Weeks in a Row, 3 Times in the Best Loser’s Book and Check Contest Winner – Darla Varney. Varney also held the Travel Box for week 3.

Dorothy Garn had the program. She had members make a circle with their chairs, then each member picked a humorous activity from a basket. Garn emphasized the health benefits of laughter. The WLC club

The WLC club met on April 22 at the Living Well Church in Wellsville. Mary Jarvis opened the meeting with roll call and then Mary Schmidt led the group in prayer.

The best loser was Barb Tranter and she also wore the officers ribbon. Nancy Hart won the challenge and Tranter won the 50/50 drawing.

The Nono is potato chips.

Peggy Imburgia gave the program titled “5 Minute Core Exercise for Seniors.”

Tranter read a funny joke and then Jarvis wished all a good week.
