Holborn Herb Growers Guild to hold herb and plant sale
CANFIELD – The Holborn Herb Growers Guild will hold its 2025 Herb & Plant Sale Saturday, May 10, at the Vegetable Building on the Canfield Fairgrounds on state Route 46 (Columbiana Canfield Road) Gate 5 entrance from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Holborn Herb & Plant Sale will feature a large selection of herbs, annuals and perennials. In addition to these varieties, the guild will once again feature its Twice Loved Plants. Members have lovingly garnered and nurtured these assorted plants for purchase. A Twice Loved Book Sale featuring gardening, herb and cookbooks, etc. along with Twice Loved Treasures will also be available for purchase. Also featured will be a basket raffle. Guild members will be on hand to assist with purchasing, answering questions and sharing information.
The Holborn Herb Growers Guild began in 1982 with the aim of educating members and the public in the use and enjoyment of herbs. To this end, the guild has established public herb gardens at the Western Reserve Village at the Canfield Fairgrounds and at the Boardman Park and has held numerous educational programs, herb sales and events. Anyone interested in becoming a member of HHGG should see one of the guild members at the sale.
