Oldies Dinner Show
EP Eagles #1506 is having their Annual Oldies Dinner Show on Saturday, April 26, and also again on Saturday, May 3. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 330-853-8483. Tickets include dinner which is pasta, meatballs, side salad, roll and dessert and also a show featuring a great cast of musicians and singers. Tickets are $20 each or lower to buy a table of four, six, eight or 12 people. Hear music from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and dinner is served promptly at 6 p.m. with the show to start at 7 p.m. The show last a little over two hours in length.
Drive thru spaghetti dinner
The Columbiana Meals on Wheels will host a drive thru spaghetti dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or sold out Saturday, April 12, at Firestone Park in Columbiana, Pavilion #4 (Duck Pond). Suggested donation is $12 per meal which includes: Spaghetti with meatballs, salad, bread and cookie. The Columbiana Meals on Wheels is 501C3-nonprofit, self-funded program that relies on donations to support its mission. For advanced ordering call 330-482-0366.
Senior Info Sessions
Celebrating Seniors will host Senior Info Sessions at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, at First Presbyterian Church, Columbiana. There will be helpful information relevant to current issues. April topics: Home Care and Veterans Benefits. Celebrating Seniors is held the second Tuesday of each month. For information call 330-482-2666.
CWC to host Spring Tea
The Columbiana Women’s Club (CWC), a civic organization operating a century house on Main Street in historic Columbiana, is hosting a Spring Tea on Saturday, May 17, at the clubhouse, 121 N. Main St. Hosted by Pat Keylor, the event features: Afternoon Tea, Petite Sandwiches, Sweet Treats and Spring Decor. The Spring Tea features two seatings only: 12:30 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. Space is limited; RSVPs required: 330-692-1304. Cost is $25 per person: cash or check only; make checks payable to Columbiana Women’s Club. Cooking Club meets
The Sharing and Sampling Cooking Club, a group for cooking and baking enthusiasts, will meet at the Upper Ohio Valley Museum and Learning Center at the Lou Holtz Hall of Fame on the third Tuesday of every month. Each month will feature a theme for that month. During meetings, participants will share the food and recipes for the theme of the month and discuss his or her experience creating the recipe of their choice. The first event will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 6 p.m. The first theme will be Italian foods. Members can bring the food item for sampling and the recipe for sharing Although it is called a club, there is no formal membership and all are welcome; however, registration is required at michelle.roberts.hof@gmail.com or by calling the museum at 330-386-5443.
