Columbiana Middle School was represented at the recent Ohio Music Education Association District 8 Jr. High Honor Choir. The choir was a group of 120 students selected from grades 6-8 from Carrol, Columbiana, Jefferson, Stark and Tuscarawas counties. The two-weekend event culminated in a final performance on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Alliance High School. The Honor Choir was directed by guest conductor, Beth Polen, who is the Director of Choral Activities at the University of Mt. Union.
