CHFM donation

The Town & Country Garden Club recently made a monetary donation to Caring Hands Food Ministry (CHFM), which is a local food pantry distributed once a month at the First Church of Christ, East Palestine. Caring Hands operates in direct partnership with the Second Harvest Food Bank in order to provide food to residents of the village and surrounding areas who are in need. Food is purchased from Second Harvest Food Bank, but there are many items that Second Harvest does not have available to purchase, but are also needed. The donation from the garden club, made possible with the assistance of Tom Brittain and the Chevy All Stars, enabled CHFM to purchase those items: bar soap, deodorant, dish soap, laundry detergent and baby wipes. The CHFM accepts monetary donations, along with physical assistance in preparing for distribution days. For information contact caringhands@cocep.org.
