WELLSVILLE — The Wellsville Volunteer Fire Department is giving local parents who need to finish their Christmas shopping a chance to do so without taking their children when they host “A Night with the Littles” at the fire department.

Parents can drop their children off at the station from 5 p.m. until pick up at 8 p.m. Saturday. Parents are encouraged to drop the children off in their pajamas, so they are ready for bed at pickup.

Children will enjoy a movie, popcorn and games during the evening. There may even be a surprise visit from Santa during the evening.

The event is free for children 5 years of age or older.

“We here at the Wellsville Volunteer Fire Department love our local littles and would just love to hang out with them and give you as parents as break,” Firefighter Erin Fischer said.
