SALEM — Dulci-More: Folk & Traditional Musicians will present a free Performance Song Circle from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 in the Meeting Room of the Dale Shaffer Research Library of the Salem Historical Society, 239 S. Lundy Ave. Parking is available in the municipal lot across Lundy. The building is handicapped accessible. There is no charge for this event.

This is not a jam like many people are used to, but rather a performance song circle (with some extra audience), so when it is someone’s turn in the circle, they can: 1) perform solo or with an ensemble, 2) lead a sing-along of a familiar song, 3) request that someone else perform a song which they have been known to perform on previous occasions, or 4) just come and listen (and sing along if so choosing).

Since its founding in January of 1993, Dulci-More has met twice a month to enjoy playing and singing. The group occasionally performs for festivals, fairs, schools, churches, clubs, nursing homes, and others. The group also presented its Dulci-More Festival for 25 years featuring national, international, regional, and local musicians.

The Dulci-More Fall Concert Series will continue with Michael G. Ronstadt & Serenity Fisher on Monday, Dec. 2. They previously appeared for the Dulci-More Concert Series in 2019.

Everyone is welcome to attend without giving any previous notice, but those who have any questions or want to let the group know they will be performing or attending the song circle can contact Bill Schilling for Dulci-More at bill@dulcimore.org, or phone at 234-564-3852.

Starting at $2.99/week.
