North Elementary Halloween
Students at North Elementary were treated to a surprise burst of fun and excitement this morning as beloved characters from Super Mario Brothers greeted them along the carpool line. The school staff and even a future service animal joined the festivities, bringing smiles to students’ faces as they started their day. Superintendent Jonathan Ludwig led the way dressed as Super Mario himself, accompanied by Director of Curriculum Ryan Willis as his trusty sidekick Luigi. Teacher Lindsay Ramsey brought the iconic Koopa Troopa to life, while Principal Jenna Cope channeled Princess Peach. A YSU student teacher joined as the villainous Bowser, and future service animal Harper Ludwig completed the cast as Toad. “Our goal is to make school not only educational but also engaging and memorable for our students,” said Ludwig. “Seeing their excitement and enthusiasm when they spotted their favorite characters was priceless.” The character-themed welcome is part of North Elementary’s ongoing commitment to fostering a positive and joyful school environment. It was especially timely during the Halloween season, adding an extra layer of fun to the school day. (Submitted photo)
