Columbiana County Health District still has spaces left (PSA)

LISBON — The Columbiana County Health District still has spaces left for the upcoming Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) screening clinic, taking place on Tuesday, Nov. 19. This vital health service will be held at the Health District, located at 7360 state Route 45 and will be offered by appointment only. Screenings are free for residents of the General Health District and $25 for those from Salem and East Liverpool cities or outside Columbiana County (cash only).

The American Cancer Society recommends that men over the age of 50 receive annual PSA screenings. Additionally, due to a higher risk of prostate cancer, African-American men are advised to begin screenings at age 45. Men with a family history of prostate cancer should also start screening at age 45.

To book an appointment, call 330-424-0272, ext. 114.
