Ohio Highway Patrol makes felony OVI arrest OVI arrest
LISBON — The Ohio State Highway Patrol made a felony OVI arrest in Lisbon.
Troopers from the Lisbon Post conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Honda Civic for a marked lanes violation on state Route 517 in Lisbon at approximately 12:18 a.m. Friday. The driver, Corey Schutte, 30, Uniontown was put through field sobriety testing and subsequently arrested for OVI and transported to the Lisbon Post where he began to show signs of a possible drug overdose. EMS were called for Schutte and administered Narcan prior to transportation to the Salem Regional Medical Center for further evaluation.
According to the patrol, this is Schutte’s fourth arrest for OVI since 2017, making it a felony offense of the fourth degree, and if convicted faces up to a year in jail.
The release concluded by reminding the public to always drive sober, and report suspected impaired driving activity.
