Port meeting re-scheduled

The regularly scheduled bi-monthly Columbiana County Port Authority Board of Directors meeting has been re-scheduled from May 27 to May 20 at 5 p.m.

Trash and Treasure Sale

Emmanuel United Methodist Church is hosting a Trash and Treasure Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 24 and 25 at 222 W. Martin St. in East Palestine. A free case of water will be given away while supplies last. Many household items are available. All proceeds benefit numerous ministries of the church.

Banquet in Salem Monday

Salem Kiwanis will sponsor in honor and memory of Vice President Sondra O’Donnell the dine in or drive thru Banquet in Salem from 5 p.m. until the food is gone Monday at the Salem Memorial Building. The menu will include chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, applesauce, fresh vegetables and fruit, and cupcakes. Dine in will park in designated area and proceed to front door. Drive thru will line up in the lot in the back of building; one meal per individuals in the vehicle. No parking in library lot. Smith Grange breakfast

Smith Grange, 11090 Beloit Snodes Road, will host a community breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday. Dine in or carry out. Cost is $12 for ages 13 and over, $5 for ages 6 to 12 and free for ages 5 and under.

Salem Amvets Veterans Run

Salem Amvets Riders will hold their second annual Veterans Run to benefit hospitalized veterans and those in hospice care. Motorcycles and cars will meet at 9 a.m. and roll out at 11 a.m. from the Amvets at 750 S. Broadway Ave. in Salem and travel to the Ohio Veterans Memorial Park, returning to food from Mission BBQ at the post with auctions and prizes. Donations accepted. Cost is $15 per rider, $10 per passenger. The event includes food, raffles, auction, music and cash bar.

St. Patrick Food Pantry

St. Patrick Community Food Pantry, 167 W. Main St., Leetonia, will sponsor its monthly drive thru food distribution for Leetonia School District families from 9:3o to 11 a.m. Saturday. Have photo ID or proof of residency and trunk clear to receive groceries.
