Buckeye Water District selects new foreman

WELLSVILLE - Due to the retirement of Sam Peirson, Buckeye Water District Board Trustees voted Thursday to move Jason Bahen to the position of distribution foreman and Greg Beatty to crew leader.

The trustees had no resolutions to adopt or any other matters that required any action to be taken.

Their finance report included a year-to-date revenue of $1,370,167.17 in the General Operating account, $17,167.24 in the Contingency Fund and $1.173.34 in the USDA Reserve Account.

Trustees showed $424,099.93 in cash receipts in their General Operating Account and 6,310.90 in the expense report for February.

District Manager Al DeAngelis noted the district received quotes for the upcoming health insurance renewal and the 2024 backhoe purchased has been delivered.

The district has advertised for a distribution mechanic due to an employee resigning. The deadline for submitting resumes was Friday.

The Buckeye Water District Board of Trustees meets the third Thursday of each month at 9 a.m., inside council chambers at Wellsville Village Hall, 1200 Main St. The next regular meeting is April 18.
