SEBRING - More than 200 gathered at Sebring B.L. Miller Elementary School to cover themselves in glow paint and enjoy STEM activities under a new light.

The free educational event March1 included glow stations, such as Jenga, glow spoons, math activities and cup stacking, glow bowling and STEM fluorescent experiments.

"We were glad to have so many of our families come together for a night of learning and fun,"said Jill Dennis, family engagement coordinator for Sebring Local Schools and the Success After 6 coordinator. "Our 2nd annual event was a huge success thanks to all of the hands involved. We're already looking forward to next year."

Partners of the event included Oh WOW! Center for Science and Technology, United Way's Success After 6 program, Sebring's Parents/Partners in Education group, and Sebring students and staff.

Oh WOW! provided STEM Sak bundles with a fluorescent hands-on experiment for every student, as well as other activities for the stations.
