Tops 1341
Tops 1341 met at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church on Monday, Feb. 26, with Darlene Naukam, leader, presiding. Dena White was the best loser and Chris Plunkett was the runner up. No no's for the next week are fried foods and regular soda.
The drawing winners were: calorie chart and 50/50, Cindy Hays; weight loss, Judy McComas; junk food, Lydia Kraft.
White was three times in the best losers book. Patty Gruszecki held the travel box for the second week. There are two Tops members remaining on the check.
Hays presented a program titled "Eight weight loss tips nobody wants to talk about." The members participated in a discussion following the presentation.

Choose To Lose Group
Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on Feb. 27 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding.
The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call. Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasure report. Both were approved as read.
Carolyn Hager was the Pearl's biggest loser. Perorazio was the officer biggest loser. Dottie Seevers was the Diamonds biggest loser. Diamonds in leeway are Seevers , Stephens, and JoAnn Beresford.
Perorazio won the calorie charts and 50/50. Stephens won the dimes.
Beresford read articles on Basket Full Of Troubles and Savings The Easter Bunny.
The no no's are pizza and bread.
Winners of the No Fibbing Contest are Wanda Price, Jerry Kontnier, Beresford, Pat Heacock, Anita Kukich, Fouse. New numbers were drawn for the following week #10.
CTLG celebrated Carolyn Hager birthday. Members brought in healthy snacks along with their recipe.
Perorazio closed the meeting with prayer requests followed by the Lord's Prayer. New and former members are always welcome on Tuesdays. For more information call 330-383-8217.
WB Area Ladies Ruritan Club
The West Branch Area Ladies Ruritan Club met Feb. 19.
Vice President Joann Pinkerton led the meeting. She greeted everyone and started the meeting with The Pledge of Allegiance and the singing of God Bless America. Viola Blanchard gave the devotions.
The club was notified from National to sell ads for the spring banquet pamphlet in April.
Sandy Bates read the minutes of the last meeting. Jean Zion read the treasurer's report.
A Thank You note was approved for Roxann Gattardi for a gift to the club.
The program was Linda Slack from the Habitat for Humanity. Many have to applied for a home. Applicants must complete many hours during the build and a contract is written with the finances completed. There will be a build in 2024.
Refreshments were served by Sandy Bates.
The next meeting will be held March 18.
