The Lisbon Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol is currently investigating a hit-skip school bus crash that occurred at 8:06 a.m. today in Fairfield Township.
A Crestview District school bus was stopped southbound on state Route 164 with its crossing gate arm and stop sign displayed. A southbound box truck traveled around the stopped school bus and sideswiped the driver side of the bus. The box truck then left the scene.
No injuries were reported in this crash; however, children were present on the bus at the time.
The box truck is described as having an all-white cab and enclosed box. The damage should be located along the passenger side of the box.
