LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP -- Liverpool Township has a vacant spot to fill on the Zoning Commission, trustee Dennis Giambroni said during Tuesday's trustees meeting. The township is looking for someone to fill the vacant seat.
Stacy Conley was reappointed to the seat she held for another five-year term with an all-in favor.
Fire Chief Dave Ward told the trustees Tuesday that the two new fire trucks had been looked at and fixed. There was a wiring issue with the siren. He also said that all the trucks were in service, but he needed to have the front brakes checked on the tanker.
Road Supervisor Chris Bosworth said everything was good at the shop and they did some maintenance on the 2006 plow.
During her report, Fiscal Officer Shirley Flati said that she distributed the W2s to all employees, filed 941 annual filing with the State of Ohio, mailed the Ohio IT3 by certificate of mailing and uploaded W2s to the state, filed and paid for the City of East Liverpool Tax for the fourth quarter and year end summary, filed the tax advances with the Columbiana County Auditor, filed fourth quarter federal tax report, filed BWC injury illness summary and mailed out 1099. She also said she was currently working on year end.
The trustees approved the payment of warrants and Electronic Fund Transfers totaling $60,532.17 and a resolution to accept OPERS Conversion Plan for 2024.
There was no report from the police department and no old or new business to discuss.
The Liverpool Township trustees meet every other Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Township Administration Building. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Feb. 6.
