Choose To Lose Group
Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on Jan. 9 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding. The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call. Pam Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasure report. Both were approved as read.
Wanda Price and Sally B. were tied for the biggest Pearl's loser. Fouse was the officer biggest loser. Sally B. had three weeks weight loss. Price had ten pounds off. Price was the Biggest Loser Of 2023. Congratulations!
Diamonds in leeway are Jean Ferrebee, JoAnn Beresford and Stephens. The no no's are cookies and chips.
Perorazio won the calorie charts, Price won the dimes, and Sally B. won the 50/50.
Winners of the No Fibbing Contest are Price, Beresford, and Sally B. New numbers were drawn for the No Fibbing Contest #1.
Fouse read an article on Benefits of Cinnamon.
Perorazio closed the meeting with prayer requests followed by the Lord's Prayer. New and former members are always welcome on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
Tops 1341
Tops 1341 met Monday at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church with Leader Darlene Naukam presiding. After weigh-ins, the meeting opened with pledges and the roll-call.
The Best Loser was Marlene Reynolds and Pat Allison was the runner up. They chose ice cream and potato chips for this week's junk foods.
Drawing winners were: Weight Loss, Cassie Ensinger; Junk Food, Patty Gruszecki; Calorie Chart, Dorothy Garn; 50/50, Darlene Naukam; Losing 3 Weeks in a Row, Pat Allison; 3 Times in the Best Loser's Book, Chris Hayes; Reynolds was in the Attendance Book for eight weeks. Eight names are left on the Check Contest. Cathy Wollam held the Travel box for three weeks.
Best Loser for the month of December was Chris Plunkett and Darla Varney was the runner-up. Monthly Calorie Chart winner was Reynolds and Mary Gailey won the monthly exercise contest.
Ohio Tops Chapter 1341 celebrates 48 years of Taking Off Pounds Sensibly. Wollam read a poem entitled "'Twas The Month After Christmas." The meeting ended with The Lord's Prayer.

Tops 1947
Tops 1947 from Wellsville met Dec. 19 at the Living Well Church with leader Mary Jarvis opening the meeting with pledges, roll call and then Connie Hissam led the group in prayer.
Tops best loser was Hissam and Donna Lee wore the officers ribbon. The dimes will be carried over and Barb Tranter won the 50/50 drawing. Mary Schmidt was recognized for having lost weight for the last three weeks.
Jarvis read a Thank you from the church for the monetary donation and she also thanked Barb M. for the work she did for the Christmas Party. All members had a great time. Also Hissam was thanked for providing a delicious meal for the group.
Hissam announced that Jami Spring was the most valuable player for the football game and was given a $25 gift card.
The group voted that the next meeting would be Jan. 9.
Tranter read a funny joke and then Jarvis closed the meeting wishing all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
