Aleah Bach
SALINEVILLE -- Southern Local High School senior Aleah Bach has been named the Salineville Kiwanis Student of the Month for January.
Bach, the daughter of Brandon and Aubrey Bach of Hammondsville, has demonstrated exemplary academic and athletic achievements during her time at Southern and is ranked first in her class with a 4.483 GPA.
She has served as secretary in several organizations including the junior and senior class cabinets, National Honor Society and Varsity Club. She also completed several community service hours and is a four-year letter winner in volleyball and a two-year letter winner in softball. Bach currently works full-time while also attending both Eastern Gateway Community College and Kent State for College Credit Plus, and she will graduate from SLHS this spring with her high school diploma as well as an associate's degree.
Bach plans to attend The University of Mount Union, where she was recently accepted into the honors program, to major in early childhood education.
