LISBON -- The Lisbon Exempted Village School District is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an open vacancy on the Lisbon Board of Education.
Prospective applicants must be a resident of the Lisbon school district. Submit a letter of interest to Lisbon Board of Education Treasurer Jennifer Coldsnow by Dec. 15.

Two longtime board members, Jim Smith and Martina Grimm, chose not to seek re-election this year so their terms will end Dec. 31. Brittany Tyler won election to one of the seats in November, with her four-year term beginning Jan. 1. No valid petitions were filed for the other open seat, so the school board is looking for someone to appoint.
