Salem Home Depot robbed
SALEM — Three men robbed Home Depot at knife point Sunday while spraying an employee with Silly String.
Salem Police Detective Brad Davis said that at approximately 7 p.m. Sunday three men filled a shopping cart with merchandise from the store before attempting to leave the store without paying. When approached by an employee of the store one of the men “grabbed for his waistband insinuating he had a firearm,” and another brandished a knife toward the employee before spraying the employee with a can of Silly String, while the third man pushed the cart out of the store. Davis said the men then fled the store in a dark colored sedan, traveling east on State Street out of city limits.
Davis said that there were no injuries and that no further information was available Monday.
