Look Nook Book Fair
The Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) Look Nook Gift Shop's Book Fair, which will feature a wide selection of books and seasonal items at discounted prices, will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 16 and 17 inside the Look Nook, located next to the cafeteria on the hospital's ground floor. Carrollton Bible Chapel concert
The Needhams of Murfreesboro, Tenn., will be featured in concert at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Carrollton Bible Chapel, 365 Steubenville Road SE, Carrollton. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. With the combined talents of singing, songwriting and instrumentation, the Needhams move ahead with optimism using bluegrass and southern gospel. A lover offering will be taken during the intermission, as well as door prizes given away. Two canned goods are requested for admission, which will be donated to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry in Carrollton.
