Tag Day in Wellsville
The Columbiana County Sheriff's Office will be conducting Tag Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in Wellsville to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation. Currently Sheriff McLaughlin and deputies are working on a 6th wish for children in need. The average wish costs $8,000 to $10,000. Bravura to perform Sunday
The next performance in the Idabelle Firestone Fall Concert Series is coming up on Sunday at 3 p.m., and has been moved from Firestone Park to Grace Church, 140 South Main Street in Columbiana. The woodwind quintet, Bravura, will perform a concert of chamber music with roots from the 18th century. Parking is permitted in the church lot and the concert is free. Donations will be accepted. Corporate sponsor WFMJ's popular Meteorologist, Andrew DiPaolo, will be on hand as concert announcer. The free Idabelle Firestone Fall Concert Series, made possible by a grant from the Tingle Family Restoration Foundation, will come to a close on Oct. 15, at 3 p.m. with a Celtic Harp and Bagpipe performance. Drive-thru soup sale
Mile Branch Grange will hold their monthly drive-thru soup sale on Oct. 12, 2023. Cost is $8 per quart. This month's soups will be Loaded Potato and Stuffed Pepper. Soup must be preordered by noon on Wednesday, Oct. 11. Soup will be available for pick up from 4-6 p.m. It will be packaged and delivered directly to your car ready to heat when you get home.
