Pete the Cat is coming to Story Trail Saturday at Waterworth Memorial Park’s Nature Trail. Drop by any time between 1 and 3:45 p.m. to enjoy the free event with the entire family. In conjunction with the Salem Parks and Recreation Department and Salem City Schools, Salem Public Library invites the whole family to come out for a walk in the woods to enjoy a great picture book and get to meet the grooviest blue cat in literary history. The three-quarter mile Nature Trail is stroller and wagon friendly. To get there, enter Waterworth Memorial Park’s Sunset Boulevard entrance near the dog park. There is no registration needed.
