Over 25 years in their home, Randy and Sue House of 16735 state Route 267, Glenmoor, created a shady park-like setting filled with little surprises of figurines, vintage tools and housewares. All their hard work has earned them East Liverpool-Calcutta Area Garden Club's August Yard of the Month award. The deck and flowerbeds showcase Sue's love of country/primitive style. The "outhouse" garden shed area got expansion this year after a storm knocked down two pine trees. The remaining tree stumps prompted more plantings with rock and split rail borders to create a vignette at the back of the property. An inviting Hosta bed skirts the shed with more perennials around the garage area as well as a raised bed with vegetables. (Submitted photo)
