ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP -- Road Supervisor Scott Barrett said during the St. Clair Township trustees meeting Monday that in addition to the roads originally scheduled for chip and seal, the Columbiana County Engineer's Office will be doing road reclamation to four others.
According to Barrett, the county will be doing chip and seal on North and South Meadowbrook, Lois, Wayne and Maple streets to repair the roads that were affected during the recent sewer line project.
This work is anticipated to be done during the same time the township is doing chip and seal work.
Anticipated dates for the work to be done are Aug. 7 through 10.
There are no updates currently on the Columbia Drive Part B project other than work is progressing.
There were no ordinances or resolutions to be voted on.
The trustees approved the payment of warrants and bills totaling $84, 021.99.
Fiscal Officer Deborah Dawson reported that the bank reconciliation for July was done and matched up with the bank and that she had set up the township's display for the fair in the government building at the Columbiana County Fairgrounds.
During the public portion of the meeting a resident addressed the trustees with complaints about a property she thinks is a nuisance and a pond of she is concerned about the condition. The trustees said they had already drafted a letter to the Columbiana County Health Department regarding the pond and they would take a look at the property and see what could be done.
The St. Clair Township trustees meet every Monday at 4 p.m. in the Peter Metrovich Community Room in the back of the township administration building. The next meetings are scheduled for Aug. 14 and 28.
