SALEM - Fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon Joshua Natali, D.O., is joining Dr. J. Cletus Paumier, Dr. Dominic Peters, Dr. Lee Simon and Dr. David Prior at Salem Orthopaedic Surgery at the Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC).
As an orthopedic surgeon with an extensive background in sports medicine, Natali has expertise in treating athletes of all levels, including serving as a team physician for the Cincinnati Reds. His areas of focus include shoulder and rotator cuff injuries, ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair and fracture care.

"Bone, muscle or joint pain can keep many people from the activities they enjoy," Natali said. "I look forward to offering my patients the latest treatment options to reduce their pain and get them back to moving as quickly and safely as possible. This includes providing a wide range of orthopaedic procedures for sports and work-related injuries, arthritis, chronic tendon pain and other conditions. As a lifelong athlete, my special interests include sports medicine, ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, shoulder arthroscopy, shoulder replacement, knee arthroscopy and fracture care."
Education and Fellowship Training
Natali earned his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at University Hospitals in Cleveland. He received his fellowship training in sports medicine at Beacon Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Cincinnati, where he served as a team physician for the Cincinnati Reds.
His memberships includes the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine; American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons; and the American Medical Association.
