The Salem Federation of Women's Clubs held a tea to celebrate the coronation of King Charles and Queen Carmella May 20, with 49 people attending to enjoy a high English Tea. Alfred Farrand, who is from England, presented the origins of tea and the many different kinds. Everyone one enjoyed Coronation salad, which was served at the Queen Elizabeth's coronation and one of her favor desserts - posset. Savories, scones and sweets were served.
