Route 30 accident

Members of the East Liverpool Fire Department’s hazmat team assist the Ohio Highway Patrol during a one-vehicle accident on U.S. Route 30 just outside Lisbon on Friday afternoon. The call came in at 7:22 a.m. A dump truck was traveling westbound before veering off the road. Several utility poles were destroyed or damaged by the truck which came to rest on its side. Traffic flow was affected well into the afternoon. No other details were available at press time. (Photo by Stephanie Elverd)
