Around 50 people attended the annual Christmas party at Lisbon Grange Monday. Several awards were presented by the worthy Master Michael Bates. Membership awards were presented to Ruth Ann Bailey for 75 years; 70 years to JoAnn Harris and Marjorie Pannier; 60 years to Mary Ann Dixon and Karen Sadler; 50 years to Larry Bates, Ina Bowles, Jim Bowles, David Pannier, Mike Pozenel and Kathryn Williamson; and 25-year certificates were presented to Greg Long and Lonnie Sadler.

Festivities followed with the arrival of Santa (Randy Bates) and Mrs. Claus (Paula Bates), preceded by anxious children singing “Here Comes Santa Claus.” Presents were given to each child by Santa, as well as most of their parents and others in attendance. While children sat on his lap, Santa confirmed each one’s desires for the Dec. 25 delivery. Mrs. Claus made sure that every gift was delivered according to “North Pole Plans.”

After Santa departed back to the North Pole to resume constructing toys, grange members and guests enjoyed many finger foods and fellowship.

Starting at $2.99/week.
