The Autism Society of Mahoning Valley recently received 25 laptop computers from Agent Shannan Jursa and State Farm Insurance Companies. These laptops were given out to individuals with autism ages 16 years and older at a giveaway party on Dec. 8 in Boardman. The laptops will be used for educational and work needs for these individuals. The autism community continues to have barriers to technology, as well as overall educational and employment barriers. The Autism Society of Mahoning Valley works all year to create opportunities for the autism community. Individuals receiving laptops were from Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties.
