NEW CONCORD, Ohio - Tina Best of Leetonia has been named to the Spring 2022 Academic Merit List at Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio. The Academic Merit list contains the names of undergraduate degree-seeking students who started the semester as a part-time student (minimum load of 6 completed hours) and earned a term GPA of 3.60 or above on A-F graded coursework.

HAMDEN, Conn. – Megan Daley of Salem received a Master of Health Science/Pathologists' Assistant from Quinnipiac University during a commencement ceremony held in May.

FINDLAY, Ohio - University of Findlay graduates were recognized for earning degrees and were invited to walk in the University's commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 7. A total of 790 graduates earned doctoral, master's, bachelor's or associate degrees for the academic year 2021 - 2022. BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – Geneva College announces the Dean's List of undergraduate students for the spring 2022 semester. To be eligible for this recognition, students in traditional programs must earn a GPA of at least 3.6 while passing 12 credit hours or more. EDINBORO, Pa. - Reece Enochs of Chester, W.Va., was named to the Dean's List at Edinboro University for the spring 2022 semester. Enochs, whose major is Health and Physical Education – Teacher Certification, was among nearly 1,000 students named to the spring 2022 Dean's List. In order to attain this highly regarded academic honor, students must maintain a quality point average of 3.4 or higher, complete a minimum of 12 semester hours of credit and receive no grade lower than a C in any course.

Colton Merrill
The Columbiana County Career and Technical Center is committed to recognizing students who both excel in their career tech lab as student of the month as well as students who excel in the academic classroom as scholar of the month.
CCCTC's May Scholar of the Month is Colton Merrill. A full-day student, Colton is a senior welding student from Leetonia High School. Colton is a member of the National Technical Honor Society and SkillsUSA. In addition to his activities, Colton works at Reiser Manufacturing where he builds trailers.
Colton is a dedicated student and employee who works 40 hours a week while attending school full time and maintaining high grades. Upon graduation from the CCCTC and Leetonia High School, Colton plans to continue to work at Reiser Manufacturing using the background he got through the welding program at the CCCTC.
Colton's teachers say that he is always someone that can be relied on. You never have to worry about Colton completing his work and doing it incredibly well. He is quiet but always contributes in class. Colton is a kind young man that will experience success in his future endeavors.
About his choice to attend the CCCTC, Colton states, "I came to the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center with high expectations of being successful. With the help from my lab instructor Mr. Boyle and all of my academic teachers, I know I will do great in life." Colton is the son of Timothy and Brandy Merrill.
