LEETONIA--A Leetonia man wanted in Warren County for more than a dozen charges including rape and abduction has been arrested by local police.
Leetonia officers arrested Harry J. Garlough Jr., 55, 244 Elm St., at his home at 2:03 p.m. Tuesday. He was indicted by the Warren County grand jury last week on three first-degree felony counts of rape, three second-degree felony counts of felonious assault, six third-degree felony counts of abduction and a misdemeanor count of domestic violence.
According to news reports in Warren County, Garlough is accused of repeatedly abducting and raping a female victim over the course of a year between June 2017 and April 2018 in Lebanon, Ohio, near Cincinnati.
Leetonia officers served the warrant at his home, where he answered the door and was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Columbiana County Jail to await Warren County deputies.
